Draft pending legal review
This policy explains what information the Dream Home Kitchens website collects, why, and what happens to it. In short, the site collects only what you choose to send through the consultation form, plus the basic technical data any website needs to load securely. This document is pending review by a qualified legal professional before launch.
What This Policy Covers
This policy applies to this website and to enquiries you send through it. If you go on to work with us, any project agreement would be covered by its own terms.
Information You Send Through the Consultation Form
The consultation form asks for your name, your email address, your phone number (optional), the type of project you have in mind, and a message. That's everything. You decide what goes in the message field.
We use these details to reply to your enquiry and to talk with you about your project. Please don't include sensitive information such as financial, health, or identity document details in your message.
How Your Form Submission Reaches Us
When you submit the form, a PHP script running on our web host sends your details to us by email. The form doesn't create an account, and the website doesn't store submissions in a database.
Your enquiry then sits in our business email, where we keep it for as long as we need it to respond and to manage any project that follows. Email is practical but not perfectly secure, which is one more reason to keep sensitive details out of the message.
Technical Data Processed When You Visit
The site is served through Cloudflare, which sits between your browser and our web host. Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request information to protect the site from attacks and abuse and to cache pages so they load quickly.
Our web host may also keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time of the request. Hosts use these logs for security and troubleshooting. We don't use them to build profiles of visitors.
Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking
At launch, this website uses no analytics, no advertising cookies, and no third-party tracking scripts.
Cloudflare may set a small number of strictly necessary cookies to tell real visitors apart from automated traffic and to keep the site secure. They aren't used for advertising, and they don't follow you to other websites.
If we add analytics or any similar tool later, this policy will be updated to say so before that tool goes live.
Fonts Are Served From Our Own Hosting
The typefaces on this site come from Google Fonts but were downloaded when the site was built and are served from our own hosting. Your browser makes no requests to Google when you visit.
Who Else Handles Your Information
Three kinds of service provider handle data on our behalf: our web host, which runs the site and the form script; Cloudflare, which provides security and caching; and our email provider, which receives and stores enquiries.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for advertising.
Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. To make a request, use the contact details on our Contact page. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on it.
You can also simply choose not to use the form. Browsing the site doesn't require you to give us any personal details.
Children's Privacy
This website is meant for adults planning a home project. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to This Policy
If the website's features change (a new form, for example, or an analytics tool), we'll revise this policy and update the date at the top of the page.
Questions About Your Privacy
