A Luxury Kitchen Design Company That Starts With the Architecture

Dream Home Kitchens is a luxury kitchen design company with one firm conviction. The kitchen is the architectural heart of the home, and it deserves to be designed like one.

Our philosophy

Why We Design the Kitchen as the Architectural Heart of the Home

  • 01Ceiling height sets the tall cabinetry
  • 02Window positions place the sink and the daylight
  • 03A doorway fixes the end of the island

Walk through most houses and you'll find the kitchen is where the architecture either holds together or comes apart. It sits on the main sightline. It borders the living spaces, carries more joinery, stone, and working parts than any other room, and gets used hard every single day.

So we don't treat it as a run of boxes with a countertop on top.

01

The house first

The kitchen answers to the house first. Ceiling height sets the height of the tall cabinetry. Window positions decide where the sink goes and where daylight falls across the stone. The line of a doorway can fix the end of an island. Get those relationships right and the kitchen looks as if it was always meant to be there, a quality you can't add later with hardware or a statement pendant.

02

Then the way you live

It also has to work. A beautiful kitchen that makes you walk around the island every time you carry a pot from the range to the sink won't feel beautiful for long. We start with how you cook, how you gather, and who's in the room at seven in the morning, and the design grows from there.

Our promise

Timeless Over Trend: Where the Difference Shows Up

Trends aren't wrong. They're just short. These are the decisions where we choose longevity, and the reasoning behind each one.

How we think

Design-Led Kitchens, Then Craftsmanship to Match

01 The plan

Being design-led is a sequence, not a slogan. Layout, sightlines, storage, and proportion get resolved before anyone talks about door profiles or slab names, because a gorgeous material on a flawed plan is still a flawed plan.

Then the detail matters enormously.

02 The detail

Craftsmanship, to us, is mostly invisible. It's the gap between two doors staying even from one end of a run to the other. It's grain that carries across a bank of drawers instead of jumping at every seam, an edge profile chosen to suit the thickness of the stone, a filler panel you never notice because someone planned it. None of that photographs as loudly as a gold faucet. All of it decides whether a kitchen still feels right years from now.

You can see how this plays out stage by stage in our design process, and in more depth on the pages for luxury kitchen design and custom cabinetry. If stone and timber are what draw you in, start with materials and finishes.

Our people

The people behind the work, introduced properly

We'd rather introduce our team with care than in a hurry. Profiles of the people behind Dream Home Kitchens, along with the story of how the company began, will be published here once every detail has been verified. Until then, the best way to meet us is in conversation.

Start the conversation

Understated Luxury Is a Discipline, Not a Look

Calm. Warm. Considered. Never showy.

Restraint is harder than ornament. Anyone can fill a kitchen with features; the skill lies in deciding what to leave out, so the few things that remain (a single slab, a run of quiet timber, a pull that feels good in the hand) can carry the whole room.

  • A single slab
  • A run of quiet timber
  • A pull that feels good in the hand

Our concept studies show the direction and level of finish we work toward. When you're ready to talk about your own kitchen, book a design consultation and bring the floor plan, the photos you've saved, and a list of everything that frustrates you about the room you have now. That last list is where good briefs begin.

Let's talk about your kitchen

The best projects begin with a long conversation about how you live. We'd like to hear yours.
